We offer many different types of round frame profile shapes. These can be a simple square shape, but we also make rounded, angled, stepped, ribbed, cushion, hockey-stick, scooped etc, profiles. And we can change the size, that’s both front face width and side depth of any of the frame profile shapes you can see on our website. We can also recreate frame profiles used for m regular rectangular and square frames into the round or oval frame format. If there is something particular in terms of style that you would like us to replicate or you would like to design your own unique picture frame then don’t hesitate to send us a visual or a sketch of your design idea. We would be happy to then turn that into a 3D render and then go on to make a real physical example that we can send directly to you and / or talk about over a video call.

Many of the round picture frames we make begin life from solid timber plank. American Walnut, White Oak, Red Cherry, Tulip (also known as Poplar) Ash, etc, as well as other more exotic wood types – as long as they are not on the CITES red list. It is however permitted to upcycle or reuse furniture, doors, etc made from prohibited timbers like true Mahogany, Teak, Rosewood, etc, into other objects, and this object could also be a picture frame.

We offer several types of finishes. Solid wood frames can be natural or have various types of oil polish applied. But we can also stain the wood to deepen or change its natural colour, and this can then be further embellished with either a matt, satin or gloss lacquer.

If the outside diameter of the picture frame is less than 1100mm then we can also mill the frame in one solid piece from engineered sheet materials like Medite MDF and Valchromat. We can then custom spray these in hundreds of different colours. We can spray to almost any RAL code but can also match home décor paints like Farrow & Ball and Little Green. Fancy colours like pearl and finishes like liquid metal and 22k gold are also possible.

We can supply frames as “rim” only for your local picture framer to then fit the artwork or mirror. We are also able to supply these rims “naked” ie, without any finishing, paint, stain, etc, should you wish to paint or finish them yourselves, whether they may be in solid timber or MDF etc.

We can also print from your digital files and dispatch a completely finished frame to your Belgian address. Should you like us to fit your original artwork then you are welcome to send it to us.

As well as true circular or oval shaped picture frames we also make frames with rounded corners, something which can give a beautiful lift to a regular rectangular or square shaped frame. As with all our frames, these can also be customised to your exact requirements, solid timber, stained and polished or custom spray painted. Finally, we can also often replicate many regular picture frame profile styles and shapes into the round or oval frame format.
