ROUND FRAMES USA
We believe that we are one of the finest makers of round and oval pictures frames around and we delight designing, creating and dispatching them to our many clients in the USA. Any or these frames, just like our custom carved frames can be ordered as a rim only for the artwork or mirror to be fitted by your local framer, or we can dispatch a complete finished frame with artwork or mirror installed and ready to hang. Artwork can be sent to us, and if from a digital file we would be delighted to print for you too.
Available Woods
American Black Walnut
American White Oak
Red American Cherry
American Poplar (usually used for custom painted frames when a smooth flawless finish is required)
American White Ash (often used when a wood stain finish is required).
We also carve round frames from Medite MDF. We use this material when we custom spray with a smooth finish (matt, satin or gloss) and the frame outside diameter size is less than 43”.

ROUND PICTURE FRAME JOINING SELECTION
Master Picture Frame Maker Curtis O’Dell, who made all the frame examples seen on this page joins sections of the frame together using a variety of different joints. Joints can a subtle decorative beauty to the finished frame. The most popular are jigsaw, spoon, and butt. You can also design your own joints!
POPULAR PROFILES
SQUARE SECTION
Simple and elegant. We can make these to any profile size. The examples shown in this photo range between 3/3” and 1” across the front face and side. However, if you would like the size to be 2” or 3” or more, no problem! Everything is customisable.
KW CIRCULAR FRAME
These examples are 3.15” wide x 1.2” deep. Woods and finishes are as follows. Chocolate walnut, natural walnut, natural tulip with gloss lacquer, MDF with matt white custom spray.
LARGE AMERICAN WALNUT CUSHION
Suitable for circular and oval frames. Butt jointed in this example. Oil polish. 3.94” wide x 1.5” deep.
MEDIUM AMERICAN CUSHION
This example is 3.15” x 1.2”.
SMALL AMERICAN WALNUT CUSHION
The smallest we can make this profile shape is just under an inch wide. This example is 1.5” wide x 1.1” side depth.

This photo shows the hidden butterflies we use to join the sections together of these examples. All the joints in our frames can be customised.
