TURNAROUND TIMES

If your artwork files are print ready then you can send them to us via email or upload using We Transfer, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc and we will check and print in as little as one hour. It does depend on the number of prints as of course, large runs of printing take longer, but stock dependant, it will be sameday. Contact us to learn more.

There is also no need to worry about our official closing time. If a job needs printing urgently then we will gladly stay to finish it, regardless of when that is. That said, it is always best to give us as much notice as possible for urgent printing.

FILE CHECKING

We will check all image files to make sure there aren’t any issues that will affect the quality of the print for the requested size. However, although we will notify you of any inconsistences, we cannot guarantee that what you see on your own screens is how the prints will look on ours. In 99% of cases this isn’t an issue at all. However, if you do require test prints / strips, then you must arrange to come in and see us. This will increase turnaround times of course.

PAPER STOCKS

We offer a variety of paper and canvas options, so you get the print you want in record time.

We stock a good range of museum quality cotton-based papers from various suppliers, including Hahnemuhle. We stock matt, satin and gloss papers. Here is a summary of the four most popular and requested papers.

Studio Etching Rag

This is a 100% cotton fine art paper with a soft grainy matt texture. Acid-free naturally and so suitable for the high quality archival prints. It works well for Black & White photography, and limited edition print runs. Print life is around 85 years. The weight of this paper is 285gsm with a Ph of 8.1.

Studio Matt Textured Rag

A heavy weight 310gsm 100% cotton fine art printing paper with a water-colour texture to the surface. Like Studio Etching it is free from optical brighteners and so gives it a natural artisanal quality. Super sharp details, rich colour rendition for truly durable and beautiful prints

PF Lustre

This is a fantastic paper incorporating the latest manufacturing technology which along with our Canon Lucia print system enables us to produce prints with an extremely wide colour gamut with superb shadow and highlight rendition along with pin-sharp detail. It’s a paper that it closest to the paper used in traditional chemical photograph making. Great for black & white and colour photography and much more. This paper has good resistance to moisture and has a weight of 275gsm. This lustre or satin paper is a lot whiter than Rag-type papers whatever the brand.

Matt Ultra

This 240gsm paper bright white paper is super smooth and great for the production of poster prints, graphic art, photography and signage.

CANVAS

We also stock a variety of fine-art poly-cotton canvas media prints. We also offer sameday stretching for all our canvas prints.

SAMEDAY FRAMING

As well as our sameday giclée printing Westminster service we also offer sameday framing to go with it. We can do this because we both print and frame onsite in our five-storey Soho workshop and have an expert and experienced team on hand to handle last-minute and urgent print and frame requests.

Our sameday picture framing service is actually split into 3 different levels. These are a 24h turnaround, a 48h turnaround, as well as truly sameday. It does depend on what materials are required as well as the number of print and frames needed. It is best to get in touch with us as soon as possible for any urgent picture framing requests.
